The Waysmeet Center, located across from C-Lot in Durham, is a cornucopia food pantry, intentional living community (houses people for low-cost rent), and serves as a gathering places for UNH students, staff, and community members. Larry Brickner-Wood is the Executive Director of Waysmeet and you will often see him around town and at UNH events! The waysmeet offers drum circles, community dinners, mindfulness meditation, spiritual discussions, and cornucopia donations. Volunteer to become an intern or just stop by to hang out!

The Freedom Cafe is a non-profit specialty cafe providing awareness events, education, and a way to fund the work needed to end human trafficking and the commericla exploitation of all peoples. Located next to C-Lot, across from Waysmeet, is staffed by volunteers. a 25 cent - $2 donation is suggested for a cup of tea of coffee and goes to buying more supplies, but the rest goes towards funding its end to human trafficking. Between sexual exploitatiom, forced participation in armed conflicts, and men/women/kids working in sweatshops until they collapse, human trafficking profits are estimated at over $40 billion per YEAR. Stop by to study, meet with friends, learn more, and see live music or participate in open mic nights Wednesday nights!

College Woods ^^^

UNH's college woods is located on the west side of the main campus. It comprises approximately 250 acres of woods, streams, and small fields. The original land was donated by Benjamin Thompson Jr. to NH College of Agriculature and the Mechanical Arts in 1891. Presently, 60 acres within the main woods area is designated as a Natural Area. Recreational activities occuring within the entire College Woods include hiking, walking, skiing, bird-watching, etc.

Right down the hall from our meeting room (MUB 139), you have the games room that is FREE for all UNH students with your I.D. Open all week (even late night), you havepool, ping pong, and video games (you can even get a job there if you want). They have several XBox, Wii, playstations, and more!
